Supporting Uncle Wahid & Ali Family

Story

Hello, I hope this message finds you well. I’m writing to share some difficult news about my Umo (Uncle) Wahid. He has been diagnosed with cancer and is now under hospice care. As you can imagine, this is a challenging time for him, his wife, daughters and our family. We are doing our best to care for him and support each other through this. We are reaching out to ask for your support, in any way that feels right for you. Here are a few ways you can help: Meals: We’re organizing a meal train to help ease the burden of cooking. If you're able to bring a meal, please let his Wife or Daughter know, and we can send you the schedule. He does have specific requests and I’ve listed them below. Emotional Support: If you can, simply offering a call, text, or visit at Hospice (if feasible - address and room number below) would provide much-needed comfort. Sometimes just having company over and knowing others are there makes a world of difference. We understand that everyone has different ways of offering support, so please don’t hesitate to reach out if you’d like to help in other ways. We’re incredibly grateful for all the love and support during this difficult time. Thank you so much for your kindness and care. Please keep Umo Wahid, his wife and Daughters in your thoughts. With gratitude, Linda Ali (Niece) & Nora Ali (Daughter)
