In a surprise turn of events, baby girl decided to come early! It’s been an eventful week for Claire and Michelle! Baby girl is doing great but will be in the NICU for a while. Michelle is also doing well and recovering at home. Last week, Michelle went into early labor. Baby girl was born at 32 weeks and will be in the NICU for at least another week waiting for her lungs to finish developing and immune system to get stronger. That means a lot of commuting, eating out, and time at the hospital to be with the baby. Meanwhile, Claire is still recovering from foot surgery that was a few days before the birth! You may also know that Michelle and Claire moved recently. They haven’t finished setting up their home or getting prepared for the baby.  In addition to all the wonderful congratulations they have received, they really appreciate the strength and support of their community.
