Becky & Jay Schmidt have had a very difficult time lately; Becky was diagnosed with double breast cancer last summer (two different types of cancer). She has undergone and completed her intense chemo treatments and was just told she is "cancer free!" However all of this has taken a great toll on her and she tires very easily, which makes it difficult for her to stand for extended periods of time (over 5 minutes). Jay has multiple health issues (high blood pressure, shoulder and neck chronic pain, etc.) these issues make it difficult for him to function normally; the smallest movements cause extreme pain. Both are also struggling to take care of Alex (27 yr old special needs child). If you can offer them assistance with meals it would truly make life so much easier for them both.
