On June 6th 2024 the world lost the most amazing woman I have ever met. Dana was the most loving, generous, uplifting, selfless, inspirational person. These are just a few of her numerous amazing qualities. She had the biggest heart and loved her family fearlessly. Mike was her first love and soul mate. Mike, Michaela and Dane were her whole world, the reason she got up everyday and tried to make each one amazing. Dana was also the cheer/pom director and coach for HAJFL. Every child in the organization was “her baby” she loved each and every one of them as her own. She inspired the coaches in so many ways making us want to be better and more like her each and everyday. She was a cheerleader for everyone whom she came in contact with and treated them all as family. The HAJFL Cheer/Pom is a giant family due to Dana. The sadness and loss we feel is unbearable right now. Dana was always there to help anyone who needed it and now it’s time for us to stand up and do what Dana would do in this situation. We need to be there and to help Mike, Michaela, and Dane as much as we can and for as long as they need us.
