Story
“A major surgery like this is scary but knowing that I have a loving community to support me makes everything feel easier.” - Azé As Azé embarks on this incredible journey after top surgery, they could use some support. Whether, it’s a meal, small contribution for surgery, or a kind word, every bit of help means the world as they navigate this new chapter. Your generosity and love are powerful reminders of the strength of community, and we are so grateful for each and every one of you. Wonderful Ways to Offer Support: Meals! Easy-to-Heat meals for any and all meals or gift cards to food delivery services (ubereats, grubhub, etc) A Kind Word! A letter in the mail, private message, or simply sharing this link with others Donations to help offset the cost of the surgery! Azé is very fortunate to have insurance that will cover a portion of his surgery however, it will not cover all of it. Unfortunately, insurance has communicated that there is a potential for up to $4,000 out of pocket fees and they will not know the cost until after the surgery has been completed and the bill sent out. With their current job, he will need to go on disability for his recovery time leaving him with a minimum of 6 weeks instability. Azé greatly appreciates any amount you are able or want to contribute - his Venmo has been linked (any amount is welcome and appreciated)
