Lisa Shumaker has been a nurse since 1981.  For the past 10 years she has been a Stroke Program coordinator working with staff to develop and improve care for stroke patients.  She also facilitates a stroke survivor group where survivors and their loved ones come to share encouragement and struggles. Lisa also has first had experience with family and stroke with a brother that died after his stroke and father who has had multiple strokes. She lives in Washington State.
