Monica Wesolowska is the author of the memoir Holding Silvan: A Brief Life which was named a “Best Book” of 2013 by The Boston Globe and Library Journal. She’s published essays and short stories in many venues including The New York Times and has a children’s picture book Leo + Lea forthcoming. In addition to teaching creative writing at UC Berkeley Extension, Stanford Continuing Studies and elsewhere, she runs an independent editing business, helping clients tell their own stories.
