Support for Tasha Brown and Family During Medical Crisis

Story

Dear Friends, Family, and Community, We are reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for support for our beloved Tasha Brown—a 38-year-old wife, mother of five, and vibrant member of the Cheyenne, WY community—who recently experienced a life-altering medical emergency. On April 10, 2025, Tasha suddenly suffered a massive stroke while at the park with her children and had to be life-flighted from Cheyenne to Denver, Colorado—a 120-mile journey—for emergency surgery. She underwent a craniectomy, a critical brain surgery in which a portion of her skull was removed to relieve pressure on her brain. This traumatic and unexpected event has turned her family's world upside down. Tasha is currently hospitalized with an unknown timeline for recovery. Her loving husband, Stephen, has been by her side around the clock, supporting her through every moment. With the hospital being so far from home, Stephen and their family are now facing significant financial burdens, including: • Daily travel costs and gas for the 120-mile journey • Food and living expenses during the hospital stay • Hotel stays when necessary, as the hospital allows only one overnight visitor • Lost income, as Tasha and Stephen are unable to work for the foreseeable future We’ve created this Give In Kind page to help ease the initial financial stress and support this incredible family during the first few weeks of this unexpected journey. Your donations, gas or food gift cards, and messages of encouragement will go a long way in helping the Brown family navigate this difficult time. Tasha is a woman of strong Christian faith, and her family is grounded in those same beliefs. While financial support is greatly appreciated, so are your prayers—which continue to give the family hope, strength, and comfort. Please know that every prayer, message, and gesture of love means more than words can express. Tasha is a fighter, and we are holding on to hope that she will make a full recovery and return to doing what she does best—loving her family, working hard, and inspiring everyone around her. We are eternally grateful for the love and support from all of you—our extended circle of family, friends, and kind strangers. Your kindness will help lift this family up while they focus on what matters most: Tasha’s healing. With faith and gratitude, The Brown Family

Special Notes

Thank you all for the incredible outpouring of love and support during this challenging time. We know many of you care deeply for Tasha and want to visit her in the hospital, and our family is truly grateful. Due to the sensitive nature of Tasha’s recovery, we kindly ask that all visits be arranged in advance. Please do not arrive unannounced at the hospital. To schedule a visit, reach out directly to Stephen Brown (Tasha’s husband) at 919-937-6388. He will coordinate visits to ensure they happen at a time that best supports Tasha’s healing. Additionally, please note the following hospital guidelines: Live plants or flowers are now permitted in Tasha’s room. No overnight guests are allowed beyond one designated support person. We ask for your understanding and cooperation as we do everything we can to support Tasha’s recovery. Your continued prayers, encouragement, and kindness mean the world to us.

Gifts of adoption may help with some funding. I will search for other resources as well. Natasha is an amazing woman with a kind heart.
