Story
I appreciate your sympathy. My father was an incredible man who meant the world to our family. He had two children, myself and my brother Dyan, and he adored his six grandchildren: Anastasia, Jay, Emily, Hayley, Ian, and Vyncent. After a near-death experience, he moved closer to us, and we did everything we could to support and comfort him. My parents were married for over 20 years until my mother passed away on August 26th, 2022. Despite a brief marriage that ended in divorce in 2004/05, my father worked tirelessly as a security guard and maintenance worker at PNC Park and Heinz Field. His greatest joy came from spending time with his grandchildren, who brought him immense happiness. Over time, his health declined, and he faced challenges with frontotemporal dementia, compounded by hearing loss. Despite these difficulties, he was overjoyed to celebrate my husband's and my second anniversary on June 23rd, 2024. We had plans to take him out on the 3rd to celebrate. Losing my father has been incredibly tough, especially after experiencing so much loss within our family in less than two years. My children and I have been deeply affected by this profound loss, and any support during this difficult time would be greatly appreciated.
