On Sunday September 8th, 2024, the Van Ness family suffered an unimaginable loss of daughter/sister Sue and granddaughter/niece Delilah in a tragic plane accident. On top of that, Eddy Jean Pelak (mother/grandmother) lost her husband Steve to his ~4 year battle with pancreatic cancer just two weeks prior on August 25th, 2024. Sue and Delilah were loved deeply by their community and we’ve started this Give in Kind page and the GoFundMe to extend that love to their family during this difficult time. May we bear each other’s burdens and allow this family to grieve peacefully.
Special Notes
Eddy Jean and Shari are going to try to keep Sue's house and move in with dogs, Finn and Olive. We may need local help, including some muscle, in both Trumbull and Middletown as we merge 3 homes into 1.
