Community Coming Together to Support Kim's Cancer Journey

Folsom, CA

Story

As you probably have heard, our dear, sweet, friend Kim is beginning her fight against breast cancer. If you know Kim, you know a few things about her. She is a beautiful wife, mother of three amazing kids, and an absolute blessing to all her family, friends, and colleagues. She has an incredible faith in God, a compassionate heart, and a great sense of humor that can light up any room. Her smile is infectious, and her spirit is unbreakable. The next year will be a challenging one for her and her family as she begins five months of chemotherapy starting the week of November 11th, with treatments scheduled for the beginning of each week. After the first round of treatments, Kim will undergo surgery, followed by another five months of chemotherapy. During this time, we are reaching out to our incredible community to offer support to Kim and her family. One of the most meaningful ways we can help is by providing meals to them a few days a week. This will allow them to focus their energy on supporting Kim through her treatment. Whether it's a home-cooked meal, a favorite takeout like Chipotle or pizza, or even a gift card for dinner, your time, thoughtfulness, and generosity will mean the world to them. In addition to a meal calendar, we have created a list of essentials on an Amazon Wishlist to help Kim through this journey. Your contributions, big or small, will bring comfort to her and her family. The Amazon Wishlist link is included on this page. We also ask that you join us as Prayer Warriors. Kim is strong, positive, inspiring, hopeful, and humble. She is a total badass, and we know she will kick cancer's ass! Let’s surround her with love, support, and prayer during this time. Thank you for being the wonderful community that Kim loves so dearly. Together, we can show her just how much she is cherished. With love and gratitude, Kim's Tribe Jeremiah 29:11: "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
