As many of you may know, my sister Nakesha Davis suffered what some doctors believe was a stroke while others are saying it was just spinal stenosis. They treated her as a stroke patient due to stroke like symptoms. She has been discharged home today and this is where the real challenge begins. She has not regained all of her strength back on her left side and I imagine it will take some before she is back to her baseline. If you know Nakesha you know she is all about two things: Her daughter and serving within her homeschool communities. She carries many roles however the previously mentioned roles mean the most to her. The goal is for her to return at some point but for now she needs to focus on getting better. That being said, I would like to lessen her burden by asking those who are willing and able to pitch in with meals over the next few weeks. No pressure whatsoever I just believe this will help her out tremendously.
