This has been an unexpected, whirlwind! But we are so grateful for God’s guidance! Sunday, December 15th mom enlightened us that she had been having chest pain with activity for the last week. We immediately made her get it checked out! After a clean EKG and completely normal blood work (including cardiac markers), her cardiologist decided to do a heart cath Tuesday morning just to be sure! We were supposed to be heading to Ocean Springs for her granddaughter, Maddie’s, wedding on Thursday. About 7 minutes in to her heart cath procedure, the doctors came out and there was no question! Mom had to had quadruple bypass surgery and she was not allowed to leave the hospital! As you can imagine her heart was (quite literally) broken! Missing her only granddaughter’s wedding and Christmas with her family! Thankful for today’s technology, we were able to live stream all the festivities and we FaceTimed her every chance we could!!! We know that God does things for reasons we may not be able to understand! He is the only one that knows what is to come! The condition her heart was in could have only ended in tragedy! We are so grateful he kept her safe! Surgery date: Monday, December 23rd Thank you in advance for all of your prayers, love, and support!!
