We had the privilege of meeting Jill and her sweet 3 year old son, Carsen through the “Operation Christmas Blessings Lee County” Group. We had the opportunity to adopt sweet Carsen so he could have a magical Christmas like all children deserve, through this process we learned he is having some very serious, life threatening medical conditions. Due to his prognosis and recent care needs and multiple hospitalizations his single Mama, Jill unfortunately lost her job and their only income. My goal with this page to help ease the burden of healthy meals for the two of them, and help remind them they are not alone in this crazy world. Whether it be meals, groceries or diapers/wipes every bit helps. Also, any insight on local job opportunities for Jill, please feel free to reach out and share; as it’s been a battle for her to find something that is willing to understand the need to be present when Carsen is having active medical struggles and hospitalized. It’s worth mentioning this family also does not have their own transportation, so delivery is best. Carsen is currently in a size 6 diaper.
