Kate Courington, the 16 year old daughter of Glenn and Becky Courington, was diagnosed with a neuroblastomic tumor in her chest in early November. The Couringtons spent all of November in and out of Texas Children's Hospital as they did many tests to try to diagnosis and treat this rare tumor. Kate has a surgery scheduled for Monday, December 9th to remove the tumor which will require at least a week hospital stay. That surgery will determine future treatments as well.
