Hello, me and a few people in Henderson County are trying to get some help to a very sweet family! This family has been without power for three days and will not be able to have power until they are able to get their electric box fixed. To get this fixed it will cost them over five-hundred dollars because they are home owners. Its two parents and nine children with a few dogs. The family does have a fireplace and firewood is a need. The children range from 1-17. This is truly a huge need to be met in our community, me along with some other members of the community are trying to get some things figured out for this family. They do not want to leave their home due to their dogs because they are also like children to them. In the meantime, any help is very appreciated to them. A few items that we know are currently in need for them is: Diapers size 4-5 (pampers), baby wipes, hot meals, fire wood, blue diamond dog food(due to allergies), little propane bottles for a mini heater they have, winter clothes for babies girl 12 months boy 18 months, hot hands, emergency blankets, stuff to put over windows to help keep the heat in. This family really needs our help as a community and will be super appreciative for any help they are able to receive. Due too privacy concerns because some of the children were adopted the family does not want pictures of the children shared. But I can also get you in contact with the family!
