At the end of January/beginning of February Nick had to go in for emergency eye surgery due to a detached retina in his left eye. In March, he had the required follow up surgery to remove the silicone and belt holding his eye together so that it can attach and heal. On 3/25 Nick had another eye surgery for his right eye. This time to reattach his right retina. Due to detached retinas he has very limited vision and the recovery is projected to take months. For the next month I will be taking care of both Nick and M. I will need to be his eyes while also caring for M full time. So many friends and family have asked how they can help to lighten my load. If you would like to help, you can send a meal. We don’t have food allergies and the only request is no pork, bacon is okay. The meal can be lunch or dinner, we’re not picky.
