Story
We have created this page to support a beautiful little girl named Amelia. Amelia has a twin sister named Gianna and 5 siblings. As most people know, influenza A has come to many families during the course of the winter months and all are striving to get better as quickly as possible. Amelia and her siblings were no exception as they contracted the flu also. On Sunday, February 23rd, while at home Amelia had a febrile seizure and her breathing stopped. She was transported to a local hospital and diagnosed with RSV. She remains in PICU today. Little Amelia, 17 months old has had her good and tough days as she works hard to overcome her illness. Two days ago her O2 levels dropped and it was determined one of her lungs had collapsed. While Amelia, continues to fight to get better, her parents, siblings and other family members work to keep things as normal as possible. We would like to support her family with everyday needs such as PRAYERS, groceries, meals and etc. The AMELIA STRONG page has been created to coordinate these efforts. We will be posting daily updates so you will have a place to check on her battle to go home soon! PLEASE check out the SPECIAL NOTES section for favorite restaurants, food, allergies and other 'lists' of needed items.
