Supporting Mrs. Rettig

Story

Dear St. John the Baptist School Families It is with a heavy heart that we share the news that our beloved 1st Grade Teaching Assistant, Mrs. Cheryl Rettig, has been diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer and will be undergoing surgery on Monday, March 31st. Throughout her years of dedicated service, Mrs. Rettig has been a friendly and supportive presence for our children through her role in First Grade and her time spent supporting Extended Care. Now, it's our turn to show her the same support she has shown us during this challenging time. We have set up a GiveInKind page to communicate her requests for support. While she is focused on healing, please consider supporting her and her family with a gift card (digital or physical card). She enjoys several local restaurants in Healdsburg, her favorite grocery store is Big John's Market, and her favorite coffee is Black Oak Coffee. Additionally, a gas card would be helpful for all her follow-up visits. Thank you all for coming together to support Mrs. Rettig during her recovery. Your kindness and generosity will mean the world to her and her family. Sincerely, St. John the Baptist School Community

Special Notes

Mrs. Rettig has already received several comfort gifts, thank you for your kind support. While she is focused on healing, please consider supporting her and her family with a gift card. If you would like to provide a physical card, please drop them off at the Front Office of SJS.

Your kindness patience and support have made all the difference in helping her feel welcome and confident in her new school environment. Please know that our family is thinking of you and sending you strength, healing and so much love at this time. Just as you have been a bright light for so many of our communities children, we hope you feel surrounded by that same light and support now. With heartfelt gratitude, The Menth’s.
