As we get ready to ring in the new year, Andrea, Johnny and family are preparing for Jackson to have surgery to repair his heart. For those of you who have heard, Jackson may have an upbeat loving heart, but his heart sometimes is a little too upbeat and struggles to come down without emergency medical attention. Last November being diagnosed with Superventricular Tachycardia. His heart beat races upward of 200 BPM and he has to go to the hospital to have it medically reset. In the past month Jackson has had to take 3 ambulance rides, and 9 times over the past year. He is on strong medication to help him, yet it makes him very sleepy on a daily basis. Jackson is only 13 years old he loves track, cross country, baseball, and especially passionate for wrestling. He needs his heart to be strong, and this surgery will allow him to do things and not worry about if he will end up in an ambulance. Surgery is at Seattle Children’s and the doctors have recommended Andrea get a room at the hotel closest. I am hoping we as her friends can pull together enough to cover the room for 3 nights. 2 Nights before due to early check in and going off meds before surgery so he is able to stay close to hospital in case of complications. I am filled with hope that all of us who cherish Andrea and her beautiful family can come together, unite our hearts and resources, and provide the support they need to cover the costs for 3 hotel nights.
