Love for Ashley and Supporting the Banuelos supports Ashley’s family as they welcome the life of a beautiful new family member and grieve the loss of an irreplaceable other. The pain we feel in our hearts is a measure of how much Ashley meant to all of us on 2N/2S at PIH. The life and laughter she brought to the unit, the healing and comfort she brought to her patients, and the warmth and grace she exuded to all who came across her is something that will be irrecoverably missed on Renal Tele. My hope is that we can show up for her and her loved ones the way she showed up everyday for us. To Ashley, forever in our hearts, forever in our minds.
