Yesterday while walking home from school my sister Marissa (Ezra) was crossing the road and was hit by a car. She was immediately transported to Salem Hospital, but because of her injuries she was transported via ambulance up to Emanuel Portland hospital. She has a broke collar bone, shatterd pelvis, broken wrist, and bruised lungs. Last night she had surgery for the groin area - there was a laceration on the bladder but they were able to correct that during the surgery. She will be recovering up at Emanuel for at least a couple weeks. I am reaching out asking for help with meals as well as possible financial help to take the stress off my mom so she can actually be with Marissa at the hospital not working the whole time.
