Story
Hi EJAM Team, Raymond's wife is still in rehab, but as of this past Sunday, it sounded like they would be sending her home very soon. Raymond said Hospice will be providing pallitative care for his wife. We are organizing meals for Raymond and his wife. So not to overwhelm them, I think once a week would be a good place to start. My thought would be to bring your meal to the church on Sunday and place in the cafe's refrigerator for Raymond to take along home. I have tested this idea out with providing a meal for him and bringing it to the church. Raymond was good with the method of delivery. Thank you all for your willingness to participate.
Special Notes
They are not very big eaters (portion wise). They like meat, potatoes, vegetables, and soups. I think a good way for them would be to portion out so they can eat some right away and then perhaps freeze some for another time. The thought being to make it as easy as possible for them.
