Meal Train for Cassie and Freedom

Story

Cassie and Freedom are so excited to welcome their new little bundle of joy! As they adjust to life with a newborn, we’d love to come alongside them by helping with meals. Caring for a baby is a full-time job, and your generosity will provide them with nourishment and one less thing to worry about during this special but busy time. Whether you’re preparing a homemade dish, ordering takeout, or gifting a meal card, your support will provide much-needed relief and encouragement during this precious time. Thank you for helping us care for this family as they embrace this special season in their lives.

Special Notes

If you are dropping off your meals in person please remember that as they heal and bond as a new family, please keep visits short and understand they will not be able to entertain guests. A simple drop-off and warm wishes will mean the world to them! If you would like to meet the baby they will be happy to share those moments at a later date when they’re ready. Please drop off meals between 5:00 and 6:00 PM. Waiting on food with a grumpy toddler at bedtime is no fun, so this time frame will help them keep their evenings smooth and stress-free. Please consider meals that are simple, family-friendly. Their daughter, loves classic comfort foods like lasagna, spaghetti, and pizza, but let’s try to mix it up so they don’t get overwhelmed with too much of the same. Nourishing, hearty meals that are easy to reheat are especially appreciated for postpartum healing and simplicity during this busy season. If you’d like, you can include a note of encouragement or something extra special for the family.
