From Jessica: Life update: I have breast cancer. Life the last few weeks has been a whirlwind of emotions and kind of like looking at my life from the outside. This is something that happens to other people, but that you never expect to happen to you. About 2 months ago I felt a small lump in my right breast and after a month of it still being there, I scheduled an appointment to have it checked. I was sent for a mammogram and ultrasound the next week. They found 2 masses and sent me for a biopsy the following week. 2 days later I got the results that no one ever expects they will hear. I have the most incredible family and friends who have been praying me through the tests and this diagnosis and while I’ve been stunned, scared, and frustrated by this I’ve never been alone and my spirit is truly at peace. Darian has been the best support, has spent a lot of time in waiting rooms and listening to me process in the last few weeks and I truly couldn’t imagine doing this without him! I don’t know how all of this is going to work. The medical bills, the surgeries, the treatment, the homeschooling, life-but I know God has never let me down and I know He won’t start now. I’m believing in a God who still does miracles and I’m asking you to pray and believe with me! 💕
