On Wednesday, October 23, Travis had to go to the ER by ambulance from work. He quickly became septic from a severe bowel infection, abscess, and large perforation. On Friday, October 25, Travis required emergency surgery. He underwent a partial colectomy (removal of entire sigmoid colon) and appendectomy. He is currently in the ICU. Brooklyn is there with him and her mother is in town from Kentucky to help with their children. He has a long road ahead of him including another surgery to reverse the temporary colostomy bag. Would you be so kind as to help with meals to relieve this stressor from Brooklyn while she is away from home and bedside with Travis.
