I wanted to share something with you that I am going through. I have recently been diagnosed with Stage 1 Breast Cancer (April 26th), Triple Negative, to be exact. The cancer is located in my right breast. I currently have a high grade tumor which indicates that my cancer is aggressive. However, after discussions with my surgeon at Moffitt it is treatable and curable. PRAISE GOD!!! At the present time I don't have a timeline for my treatment; however, after meeting with my chemo doctor on May 31, the plan is to have surgery first followed by several weeks of chemo. My journey began on March 21st when I had my annual mammogram. Then followed by a series of tests - ultrasounds, MRI's, biopsies, etc. etc. etc. Gary and I are doing great. He is my ROCK and I don’t know where I’d be without him. He has been so supportive and by my side every step of the way. We are definitely a team! I’m not asking for your sympathy. I just would appreciate it if you could please keep us in your prayers as we have a long road ahead of us, and we are true believers that God hears us. My new motto is - "TREATABLE AND CURABLE!!"
