As some of you may already know, our colleague, Brooke Jones, is going to be out of school for at least the next month. Her family just received the news that her husband, Cody, has been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. The doctors are unsure of his prognosis at this time, but no matter what he will be in Rochester for the next 30-40 days receiving treatment, and this disease will be the main focus of their lives for the next 5-6 months, minimum. One of the recommended courses of action for keeping his spirits up is home cooking. This is a way we can all help. Brooke and Cody also have three children at home. If we come together as a community, we can take a small bit of stress off of their plate.
