Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit this page and learn more about how you can help Curt and Karen Mitchell. Many of you know that Curt is currently going through a challenging recovery, and we’re hoping to rally around the Mitchells during this time. How You Can Help: Any donations or contributions will go directly toward easing the family’s day-to-day responsibilities—funding meal services, helping with transportation to appointments, or covering extra household assistance so Karen can focus on Curt’s recovery and caring for the kids. Even small gestures go a long way in managing cooking, chores, and errands while Curt regains his strength. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate meals and help around the house. If you’d prefer to give a financial donation, rest assured it will be used to support the Mitchells in the best way possible. We’ve provided a few options—Visa, Venmo, and gift cards. Truly, anything is appreciated and helps lighten the load. We deeply appreciate any support you can offer, whether it’s a homemade meal, a gift card, or a financial donation. As you consider sharing this page, please remember to do so only among close friends for now. Together, we can help the Mitchells feel supported, reduce their stress, and ensure the entire family continues to thrive. Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and love. The Mitchell family is truly grateful for every gesture of support during this time. If you have any questions or would like to contact someone directly, you can text Phoebe at 619.552.5198.
Special Notes
Please note that we won’t be sharing this page publicly until the family is ready. If you’re seeing this, you’re part of their close circle, and we kindly ask that you not post it on social media just yet. Curt and Karen have 15-year-old triplets, and while they strive for healthy meals, convenience is more important than ever right now. Some of their favorite local Tampa restaurants include 4 Rivers, Five Guys, Evos, Fresh Kitchen, Chipotle, Fresh Bites, and Shake Shack. The kids do have a tree nut allergy, so please keep that in mind for any meal prep or orders.
