It is with heavy hearts that we share Baby Amalia Jianzhang Castellón Chin (known by her code name Acorn) was born sleeping at 29w1d on Saturday, March 8th. Gissell is doing well physically, and we were discharged from the hospital Sunday with no complications. We set this page up at the advice of our wonderful Doula, Clara, to organize emotional and tactical support from our community. We’ll be setting up a calendar for visits (in-person and virtual) so we can stay connected with everyone during this difficult time. This will be a marathon, not a sprint, so any visit is welcome when it aligns with your schedule as we’ll continue needing support throughout the year. Thank you everyone for your love and support.
