Story
As most of you know on January 2, 2025 Todd hit black ice and hit a tree. He had to be airlifted to the hospital. His multiple injuries and broken bones included; breaking both femurs and his humorous, just to name a couple. He has been in Mary Free Bed learning new mad skills, like standing and training his body to work with this current new normal. He will be coming home this weekend. Let's take this opportunity to remove meal planning from Suzan's plate so she can focus on Todd for his first three weeks home. She also has learned skills in care and especially in the beginning of this transition, it will be a full time job. He still has a long way to go, but the future looks bright. Neither of them are very good at receiving and would much rather be the giver, but they understand the need of friends and family to be His hands and feet. They have already been blessed abundantly, let's continue to shower them in love, hope and prayers.
Special Notes
Please join me in affirming Todd's favorite bible verse. Phil 4: 13 I can do all things through Christ Jesus who gives me strength. If you don’t live close enough to bring food, you can pick a night and do a gift card. When you pick the day for food, gift cards will pop up. Todd is not a fan of onions unless you can sneak them in like using dried minced onions. Other than that, he is not a picky eater and doesn't have any dietary restrictions. His favorite salad is Caesar. When dropping off food, please use containers you don't want back. We are trying to make this easier on Suzan, not harder. A great idea is to go to secondhand shops to get reusable containers or bakeware.
