Hi guys I just want to update everyone on my story. Back in October 2024 I had mentioned to my doctor about this lump she found in 2022 but nothing was further done back then so this past October I asked her to re check it. From there I had an ultrasound done the same week which came back showing signs of 4 suspicious areas on my thyroid. November 17th I had a biopsy done which came back positive for cancer. January 23rd 2025 I had my thyroid removed and the cancer actually was worse then the ultrasound showed. 5 lymph nodes accidentally got stuck to the thyroid when it was taken out. 2 of the 5 lymph nodes tested positive for cancer. My follow up Jan 30th showed my cancer levels were still high so we did a repeat of blood work March 19th and that came back doubled in numbers. So another ultrasound was scheduled for April 11th those results came back showing suspicious cancer signs in my left neck lymph nodes. April 24th I had another biopsy done which was very painful and those results came back positive for cancer. My next steps are CT scan in front Royal and surgery is set for June 12th as of now. This road to recovery and becoming cancer free has taken a huge toll on my mind and body.
