Earlier this week, my nephew Roman was admitted to AI DuPonts ICU after having some trouble breathing. Later that same day, my brother Ryan and his wife Jessica received the difficult news that every parent dreads. Roman had a mass on his lungs which, after testing throughout the week, was determined to be Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Roman and Family will not be leaving AI for an estimated 3-4 weeks. Chemotherapy starts Saturday NOV 24th. The oncologist was very optimistic and is hopeful for a full recovery. This is a truly difficult time and I create this space to give updates and fundraiser to make hospital life a little easier. Donating will help the family with current hospital stay, future visits/treatments, travel to and from and or overnights. This is an unexpected expense that no one should ever have to prepare for.
