Many of you know that my mom, Janis, has seen her fair share of battles in the last years with having breast cancer, being diagnosed with dry macular degeneration (and losing her center vision), to now battling end stage liver failure. At this time, we are moving her home on hospice care so that she can be in her own home with her fur babies and loved ones as this difficult time progresses. My dad, Robert, has been spending the last couple of years making sure my mom has been cared for, and I think it is only fair that he also gets support in this incredibly difficult time. Historically, our whole family is bad at asking for help, but I know we will absolutely need it while we help my mother transition so we can be there for her. Any help is appreciated (including what may have helped you or others in a similar situation!). Please also share any love/fun notes for her so we can read them to her!
