The first week in June Matt got really sick, and shortly thereafter ended up in the hospital for a lacerated appendix that turned septic. It adhered to his colon and things turned really dangerous. He is home now, with a drain, but things are going very slowly. Only yesterday on June 13th, Liesa accidentally snapped the ACL graft in her left knee and the doctor’s office can’t even get her in until June 24th, 2 days before her 41st birthday. She is now walking with a cane, trying to support her home business to try and support her husband while he tries to go back and earn what he can at his job until his surgery which will definitely not allow him to work at ALL for 2 weeks. Things are incredibly touch and go right now, and the relief of knowing that supper is taken care of would mean everything.
