Mohr Family Support Train

Story

Thank you to each of you who wants to help support us in this new life transition. We love and appreciate all of you! Aaron's work schedule is Wed-Fri most weeks so those are the days we will primarily be looking for support on. Please feel free to text with ANY questions and we'd love to also see and visit with those wanting to help out, when we have the time/social energy. Text us for our address :) We know that Aaron and I have clashing dietary restrictions and preferences so we want to absolve anyone that wants to help but feels as though the dietary needs are too tricky to work with. That is why we chose this site as we'd like to provide a variety of ways that anyone can help, for those who want to. :) Ideas of things that we're open to receiving help with: -picking up and delivering to us a grocery store order that we'll place -picking up and delivering to us take out that we'll order -delivering a meal or part of a meal -Taking our dog, Covie, for a walk (or play date with you/other dogs he has previously met/played with) -Gift cards (Red Robin, Applebees, Chick Fil A, MOD Pizza, Chipotle, Anchor House Coffee (Buckley), The Scoop on Main (Buckley), Hometown Charm Cafe (Sumner). -household chores (sweep/vacuum, pick up dog poops in small backyard space, and/or cleaning bathroom sink/shower) -will have an ongoing amazon wishlist that will be kept up to date with needed/highly wanted items https://www.amazon.com/registries/gl/guest-view/184COJ3W22WIQ

Special Notes

CASHEW ALLERGY-Clarissa (FYI many dairy free alternatives frequently have cashews in them unfortunately so please check ingredient label. It will say "Contains: Cashews") Aaron is lactose intolerant, we prefer to really try and avoid lactose/dairy as much as possible for him. Luckily there are many dairy free or lactose free alternatives today. Fred Meyer generally has the largest selection of alternatives. *some things are labeled lactose free and still says "Contains Milk" which is okay. He specifically needs lactose free, not dairy free.* ALSO, we are happy to give suggestions of ingredient alternatives as we know all the brands and options and where to find them. Because of our dietary differences we are totally okay eating separate foods :) We know it can be tricky to accommodate us both in one singular dish. We also are okay if only one dish is made specifically for just one of us as it still helps only having to come up with food for the other instead of us both. Cuisine Type Preferences: Aaron- mostly anything but also loves Asian/Thai dishes. Will eat any type of meat Clarissa- generally the fewer vegetables the better (beans, corn, spinach are safe bets). Italian, "American" food, chili, rice dishes are usually a safe bet. Generally only eats chicken or turkey products for meat. Will eat ground beef but not steaks/hamburgers/ribs/etc. Coffee/Drink/Treat Preferences: Aaron- Decaf dirty chai sub. coconut or oat milk - HOT (have to ask if chai mix contains milk first, need a mix without milk). Most caramel or nutty flavor profiles, as long as it's decaf and substitute coconut or oat milk. Also likes hibiscus or fruity teas, no cream added, HOT or ICED. A good dairy free cookie (nuts, coconut, oats are good) or muffin/pastry (blueberries are favorite fruit). Clarissa- white peppermint *HOT* or 'warm' flavored (vanilla, caramel, brown sugar, etc) decaf mochas/lattes ICED. Any kind of chocolatey, mint, or caramel type shake or ice cream (with no nuts or coconut). A good bagel (cheesey or plain) with cream cheese.
