Our mom, Nichol, has always been the strongest person we know—loving, selfless, and always putting others before herself. Now, she’s facing one of the toughest battles of her life. She was recently diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer at 47 and will be undergoing a double mastectomy surgery on April 2nd following with 4 rounds of chemotherapy. This is the set plan and may be subject to change although we pray it doesn’t. While she’s ready to take on this challenge with her usual strength and grace, the road to recovery will be long.
