Hello Family and Friends, As the Nelson Family welcomes home their beautiful new daughter, let's rally around them and show them how loved they are! Right now we want to focus on nourishing their family. Thank you for your kindness--it makes all the difference in these early weeks postpartum. Here is her daddy and mama's announcement: "We welcomed Lisette Clara “LC” Ann Nelson in the morning hours of 1/16. Lisette comes from the modern French version of Elizabeth, Lisette reflects the legacy of Saint Elizabeth, known for her generosity, devotion, and unwavering faith. Clara, meaning “bright” or “clear,” honors Saint Clare, a woman of radiant holiness who lived a life of humility and light. Together, these names are a tribute to two remarkable saints whose virtues of compassion, courage, and clarity inspire us all and were chosen for her by her big brothers who couldn’t wait for her arrival. We added Ann to honor our family in her grandma and great grandmother. Little LC weighed 8lbs 15oz and is 20.8 inches long. She came into this world at 3:43 am with quite an entrance and we are so in love with her. She is just what our family needed to be complete."
