Hello everyone, My name is Claire, and I'm Alec's sister and Bella's sister-in-law. I am excited to invite you all into this support circle for Alec and Bella as they welcome their first baby earth side. Welcoming a newborn for the first time can be all encompassing and demanding in unexpected ways, so I've started this page to make it easier for you all, Alec and Bella's beautiful family and community, to show up for them during this time. They feel a little shy about the idea of people cooking or ordering a meal for them, but they are also very grateful to receive the love.
Special Notes
1. Food delivery instructions: I'm going to re-iterate these here. Drop off your meal, or have it delivered (if you're using a food delivery app) to 1707 Charles Street, Vancouver between 5-6pm. Text Alec at 604-928-8397 to let him know you're en route or that the food is on its way. When you or the delivery person arrives at the apartment- buzz 035 and Alec will buzz you in. Take the elevator up to the third floor and head to #305. Alec will receive the meal. 2. Depending on how Alec and Bella are feeling on the day of your drop off, they may have energy for a visit, or they may not. You can check in with Alec about what feels possible for them on that day via text. 3. If you have any symptoms of sickness (cold, flu, Covid), please refrain from dropping off the meal. You can reschedule your drop off on the calendar, or ask someone who is feeling healthy to do the drop off.
