Story
Tressa was admitted to MUSC Lancaster on July 5th for low blood pressure and what she thought was a heart attack. She found out on Sunday that it was not her heart but something to do with her stomach or esophagus. On Monday afternoon she went down for a routine EGD and when the Dr pulled out the tube she aspirated fluids from her stomach into her left lung. She was immediately put on a ventilator and stayed on it for 3 days. She is still in the hospital but got moved to a regular room on Friday. She is very weak and has to do PT so she can learn how to walk again and do other things. She is unable to do any cooking or anything for the next couple of weeks. She has to get a ramp and will be in a wheelchair for a couple of weeks. I am starting this meal train to help her with meals as she still has a long road to recovery. Reggie will be taking care of her and don’t need to be worrying about meals.
Special Notes
She cannot have any type of spicy foods at this time.
