Ariel is a 3rd grader in Ella's class at Honey Creek Community School and she is a part of the Washtenaw Deaf and Hard of Hearing Program. Ariel has recently been admitted to the pedicatric ICU at UM Mott. She has been diagnosed with Lupus and is receiving treament. She has been in the hospital since Sunday. Her mom and dad have been with her at the hospital as well as running home to care for their highschool age son. The family could use gift cards to help order food for themselves at the hospital and for their son at home. The support of the Honey Creek Community would be greatly appreciated. HC knows how to step up! Just a quick update. Ariel is still in the hospital. Her lupus is attacking her kidney, which is causing her not to feel too good.
