Post from Brynjarr Olfúss Ok...scary moment has passed and now we can focus on moving forward. Isis Christy Bjerklund had a fall at work last week. She got examined at the ER and was released and sent home. Things were great, her mobility got better and we even attended Samhain in Glyn Dwfyn. Monday I returned home, from a very short day, to find her complaining about the left side of her body feeling numb. I saw her face was drooping and then carried her to the car and drove to the ER. My Egyptian Baroness had experienced a mild stroke! After medication and close monitoring she is now fully recovered from her symptoms and has good motor control. Side result of the medication is it reversed the healing from her fall and now she is bleeding into her knee. Today they will do surgery to repair the knee and start the road to recovery. Thank you to all of our Family and Chosen Family for being there when we needed you and continuing to be here as we move forward. We will keep everyone informed as things go on and I am sure you will understand if our attention is diverted slightly on the issue at hand. Love you all.
