Love, Prayers, Hugs and Support for the Hill Family!

Cave Creek, AZ

Story

Paige's Dad, Weston & Holden's Grandpa, is currently in the ICU at Mayo. He has been there for a few weeks but has recently taken a bad turn. Please help the Hill family with prayers, love, hugs and support! Paige has been spending most of her time at the hospital with her Dad. Many people have asked how to help and here are some ideas: #1 PRAYERS, and lots of them! #2 Meals for the family. #3 Activities for the kids to keep them occupied on weekends and afternoons and for Paige to keep her mind occupied in the hospital!

Special Notes

The whole family eats a large variety of foods including spicy and are not very picky with a few exceptions (see below). Boys are pretty typical kids and not very picky. I would say if your kids like it, they likely will too! Here is what I know the family likes. Holden eats turkey, Weston eats salami. Jersey Mikes and Firehouse are great! Pizza (both cheese and pep), Mac and Cheese and chicken nuggets are fan favorites but likely something they have had a lot of recently. Fruit is great! Apples, bananas, green grapes (although I believe Paige told me they like both!), strawberries and oranges. Hummus is a NO GO for Weston (according to what he told Addi "gross!"). Like most kids... they will eat veggies as a last resort but won't balk if there are veggies with dinner! The family has likely been eating a lot of takeout, frozen foods and pizza. If possible please try to provide some complete comfort meals for them to enjoy and reheat at anytime of day or night! When Paige has made it home, it is typically very late! Try to think of unique takeout and/or include some vegetables for the adults and kids if they can be convinced! Any meal that doesn't have to be thought of and planned will be appreciated! Think easy disposable casserole dishes etc! There are no food allergies but a few dislikes. Here is a list: No Seafood, eggplant, squash, zucchini. If I learn of something else I'll update here! If you do send messages to Paige, please keep it to support and letting her know prayers are coming. If anyone has questions on meals or delivery, feel free to contact me. Amanda 602.999.1638. I will do my best to get the information from Ryan or best answer based on what I know of the family. When you do drop off food, if no one answers you can leave the food in the courtyard. They will be home within minutes! Ultimately, the whole family is exhausted so anything to make things easier like activities for the kids for weekends and afternoons is awesome! Thank you for your prayers, love and support!
