Lisa’s father suffered a massive traumatic brain injury and the family was staying with him around the clock while he was in the hospital in Raleigh, NC. He was transferred to a rehabilitation but today he was taken back to the ER. They are still in the ER in Raleigh waiting for a bed to open up. They did an MRI to check out the amount of infection that got into the sutures. They said we might not know anything tonight. Game plan is for tomorrow if there’s not a lot just to go back in open it up take the plate out clean it up and then close it. If there’s a lot of infection when they open it up, they’re gonna have to leave part of the skull off for a while. So I guess tomorrow’s the day. Thankfully the family is able to stay at the inn beside the hospital. They could use any support whether it be monetary, gift cards for food, but most of all prayers. Please support this amazing family and our famous Lisa who goes above and beyond for our FLC students. She may have even educated the nurses on proper hoyer care 😉.
