Supporting Tiffany Espinosa

Holyoke, MA

Story

Four days ago, Tiffany posted on her FB page: Well, I'm in my last few days before my next surgery where they are going to do a little arts and crafts and origami on my innards to try and address reflux/aspiration/partial lung collapse. Not super excited about being on a liquid diet for the next few months, or the life-changing irreversible surgery, but being able to breathe seems like a good trade off. When I said I wanted to do new things and work on resting more this year, this is not what I had in mind. It is clear that the gods/universe is listening, I just ended up with a little more Loki and less Parvati. Alas, that seems on brand for this era we are all going through. At least I've got a great doc, health care, PTO, and a great team at work. Also for all the friends who are ready to help. Forever grateful for all that makes the hard things possible and bearable. Tiffany was such a positive and loving force in our lives during our 10KSB journey... if you're like me, she still is! Deb and I wanted to do something for her while she's down and out. Meal Trains are AWESOME so this is my take on it! Feel free to donate a gift card or sign up for a day to send a meal to her home (DoorDash to the rescue)!

Special Notes

She'll not be moving around a lot and will be on a liquid diet so she says the biggest help will be sending meals to her husband Thaniel, "Without reinforcements, he's on canned and frozen foods!" "He like standard American fare (beef, chicken, pork), Chinese, pizza, midde eastern (falafel or schwarma) the best. He's pretty easy goign and easy to please, there's probably something in that mix that wouldn't be too hard."
