Hi, I'm Cordi! As most, if not all my friends know, I was randomly, and amazingly diagnosed with Stage 4 Endometriosis last September. Now we prepare for Post OP! Originally my mom was going to take care of me the first two weeks of post op, but as fate will have it, she is getting knee replacement surgery the same month I am getting life altering surgery to remove the 3 cysts taking up my entire pelvis space (scary!!) Recovery time, and my support needs will vary. I won't know how serious surgery will be until I'm out - and at home and have met with my surgeon within the coming days after. If you'd like to know the specifics don't hesitate to reach out! It's a bit... freaky, so I'd rather not put the details here! Recovery time is 6 weeks, where I will be on bed rest! After the first two weeks I imagine I can manage most of everything myself, but will need some new things in my life to make Hard-Core Resting easier on me! Please consider donating money, gift cards, or buying things off my wish list. If you are able to come in person, feel free to bring me these items as well! If you'd like to bring me food I'd LOVE that, but please text me for my dietary needs/restrictions beforehand! Time slots are fairly flexible! If you can provide more support time wise that would be wonderful - My access needs are a bit varied, as one can't schedule when they'll go to the bathroom (lol) I mainly need support getting to and from the bathroom, down a short hall, and meal times. Aaaaand of course the company and whimsy of friends too :P
