Story

We’ve put this page together, to help our sweet friend, Toscha, as she is now, legally blind. She is not able to cook for herself and since she lives alone, phone calls and visitors definitely keep her in good spirits. If you can help in anyway - great! Whether it’s a meal delivered by a service or a home cooked meal you’re able to drop off for her, a phone call or a visit, if we all come together, we can make a beautiful difference in her life.

My daughter went to visit Tasha today. And made changes in the location of some food in the freezer for easier access for her. My grandson does visit Tasha a couple of times a week.

Toscha is doing well and really appreciates the visits and is checking in on her. She has trouble remembering to eat, so when you visit or talk with her on the phone, a gentle reminder to eat would be great. Maybe give her ideas of food that’s easy to make and stay on the line while she gets it/makes it? She has Ramen Noodle Cups and is learning how to make those and I am going today, to make some ham and cheese sandwiches for the freezer, that she can just take out and put in the fridge to thaw. She can eat them hot - 15 sec in the microwave or cold. Thanks again, for being there for her ❤️

Toscha will be with her friend, Ms. Connie this week, March 22-28, so she’s all taken care of. Thank you for everyone who’s reached out and provided friendship, food and care these past few weeks. ❤️
