Story
Our amazing Amanda is having surgery to kick this cancer! Let’s surround her with our love and support. If you can participate in any way, it will help make the practical things of life easier on her and her family so she can focus on getting better! (See “Special Notes” below for important dietary restrictions!) Breast cancer is a battle that a shocking 1 in 8 women will face. The origami crane, or orizuru in Japanese, symbolizes peace, hope, healing, and good fortune, particularly in Japanese culture. According to a Japanese legend, folding 1,000 origami cranes grants you a wish. (Of course, for Amanda we had to go with the image of an origami crane QUILT!) Let’s wrap Amanda and her family in our warmest wishes as she fights! Address: 8705 Cindy Road Oklahoma City, OK 73132
Special Notes
IMPORTANT: As you probably already know, Amanda is celiac so it is URGENT that any meals (homemade or delivery) are 100% GLUTEN-FREE! We want her body focused on fighting cancer and healing, not dealing with painful side effects from being exposed to the wrong food. Cava, Loaded Bowl, and Red Rooster are favorite restaurants that offer yummy gluten-free options, as does Supper Thyme (a local meal prep company)
