Hello, my name is Carolyn Santander. I am a close friend of the Vitale family reaching out to our Lindbergh community and friends of the Vitale family for some helping hands. As many of you know and some that may not know, JD's wife and Caden and Olivia's mom Corey suffers from a life-long progressive disease. Over the last past couple of years, Corey's disease has progressed significantly leaving her 100% dependent upon her families care. Recently, Corey became very ill and was hospitalized for a couple of weeks. She is now home on hospice requiring even more specific care at all times. While there is a chance of recovery from her current illness, her disease will make that increasingly challenging. JD, Caden and Olivia have been spending much needed quality family time at home together with Corey. While JD is quite the saint and super hero he could really use our help. JD is a man wearing many hats trying to keep his ship afloat. Working, coaching, fathering, and caregiving for Corey doesn't leave much time in his days. He was also unfortunately and unexpectedly faced with the passing of his father this past week. I am setting up this meal train to help free up some of his time so he and the kids can enjoy this precious time with Corey. If you would like to help by providing a meal, please sign up!
