Story
The Mendoza Family is expecting to take in a high needs/medically fragile newborn baby boy from the NICU tomorrow. He has possible long-term medical needs that Gayle, Anothony, and the family have been diligently making plans to accommodate. Gayle and Anthony have been driving into LA to visit him over the last few weeks. Their dedication to learn how to care for his needs has been a task they didn't plan for but have taken with gracious and prayerful diligence. While the baby is still fragile, he has made some great strides and is finally stable enough to be coming home! God has been so good at giving them peace with the reminder that God equips the called. In the midst of all this, Gayle's mother's health has been failing. Most recently she has had a major decline. Yesterday Gayle unexpectedly left to travel up north to be by her mother's side. This leaves Anthony and the kids to welcome the baby boy home. While Anthony is an excellent father, the demands of these changes on top of an already busy household with the added stress of Gayle's mom's decline are more than expected. Our support can make this transition easier and lighten their load. What can we do??? Meals for the Mendoza's would be such a great blessing to their family as the transition into caring for this precious baby boy, especially while Gayle isn't home. Delivering dinner, sending food or grocery gift cards would be so very helpful. Let us bless this generous family!
